REVIEW OF THE MONOGRAPH BY P. LAKOV “THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL ASPECTS OF BIOCLIMATIC TOURISM POTENTIAL IN THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA”
Abstract
In theis book review Assoc. Prof. Dr. T. Ossipova has made a critical analysis of the monograph “Theoretical and conceptual aspects of bioclimatic tourism potential in the Republic of Bulgaria” written by the author Plamen Lakov/ Reasonably, the reviewer pointed out the topicality of the issue, aimed at clarifying the bioclimatic tourism potential in a regional aspect. There is a review of the main parts - introduction, four chapters and conclusion. It highlights that the study is comprehensive, based on extensive factual material. It is pointed out that a detailed analysis of the regime and spatial distribution of basic bioclimatic indexes has been made in the monograph. It is pointed out that the inputs and the main conclusions are of a practical nature and can be used in the development of the teritory development plans. Some remarks and recommendations have been made in the review, such as the lack of maps and schemes presenting the spatially described areas and others.
