MODELS FOR SPENDING FUNDS IN OUTPATIENT AND EMERGENCY CARE
Abstract
Outpatient medical care in Bulgaria is entirely private and is financed by the health insurance fund through capitation and fees. Emergency medical care is organized, managed and controlled by the Ministry of Health. It is financed from the state budget. Defects in the organization of the emergency care system have a negative impact on the adequate provision of emergency medical care in the country.
