QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN HEALTHCARE

Abstract


In the field of health care, quality is a complex of characteristics that meets the expectations of patients regarding the offered health care and reliable medical assistance. The goal of the health care system is to provide ideal care by a qualified provider in an appropriate setting for a particular patient. The patient should receive the best possible care in an environment that maximizes efficiency and minimizes risk and misuse of resources.
