RULES OF GOOD MEDICAL PRACTICE

Abstract


Rules of good medical practice are defined guidelines or a professional code of practice established as a guide for physicians. They embody the standards of care and professionalism expected of every healthcare worker. As well as examining the moral, ethical and professional obligations of medical practitioners, these guidelines and requirements are also intended to help provide better medical care and ensure safe, effective and reliable medical services for the public.
