FINANCIAL CHALLENGES FACED BY SMALL AGRICULTURAL FARMS
Abstract
Small agricultural farms, despite their significant role in the agricultural sector and rural areas, face numerous challenges that can hinder their development and sustainability. One of the main challenges is limited access to financing. This issue manifests in difficulties securing capital for investments in new technologies, infrastructure improvements, land acquisition, or the expansion of production capacities. The lack of sufficient financial resources restricts farmers' ability to optimize their production and compete effectively in the market. Addressing these financial barriers is crucial for enhancing the viability and modernization of small farms.
