ANALYSIS OF HEALTH EXPENDITURES IN THE EU COUNTRIES IN RECENT YEARS

Abstract


In the scientific paper the specific peculiarities of the health expenditure analysis are characterized. The methodology according to which their evaluation is carried out is presented. An empirical study of the changes in the composition and structure of health care expenditures in the EU Member States in recent years has been carried out. Their impact on the efficiency of the health system, on the quality of health services and on the health status of the population have been taken into account.
