SOCIAL FARMING AS INSTRUMENT FOR LABOR INTEGRATION

Abstract


Employment is considered in close connection with reduction of poverty and increase of quality of life of every society. For this reason it is one of the most important directions of the labor and social policy of the European Union, in the name of which many directives, policies, plans and specific programs exist. In this context, the present study underlines the necessity of searching alternative opportunities for providing employment, such as the social farming could be, perceived as a form of social entrepreneurship and social innovation in the rural areas.
