CHALLENGES AHEAD OF THE NEW PROGRAM PERIOD FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNITY-LED LOCAL DEVELOPMENT (CLD). OPPORTUNITIES FOR STRENGTHENING OF NGOs AND READING CENTERS
Abstract
Local communities enable the development of a diverse and distinguishable spectrum of processes that change space. Communities are the places where the processes of change in the economic, political and family spheres (which characterize modern society) take place.
Due to the process of globalization, the local level acquires new dimensions, forms new networks in the form of regional innovation systems. Nation-states are no longer the only frameworks for creating innovation processes, and social leadership is therefore given a special role. Local territories are a space of great importance and potential for working on different strategies for coexistence.
Social capital is an element deeply related to community life and socio-community education. When trust and reciprocity exist between the residents of a locality and its social leaders, social capital can be strengthened and renovated. Different formulas for participation ensure a commitment to values, worldviews and ways of life, and this can be expressed in different ways. Keywords
